Barry Festival of Transport will take place at Hood Road, on Barry Waterfront in conjunction with Vale of Glamorgan Railway. After the sucess of the 2006 event organised at short notice, 2007 was even more sucessful with train rides, free bus trips plus displays of buses, cars and commercial vehicles, surely the 2008 event should not to be missed. Note that the event will take place one week earlier in 2008. The event is organised by the Cardiff Transport Prservation Group.

14 - 15th June 2008
The annual National Transport Festival of Wales ( formally the Swansea Festival of Transport), will take place as usual in Swansea returning to the old venue at the Recreation Ground, Mumbles Road. Saturday will see the annual road run from Mumbles to Laugharne. Note that the event is earlier this time.
On Sunday there will be The Welsh Bedford Show as part of the Festival.

Merthyr Bus & Coach Wales organized by Cardiff Transport Preservation Group in association with Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council, and Merthyr Tydfil College . The event is again staged at Merthyr Tydfil College on the college car park.

GELLIGAER 80
A special one day bus rally to commenorate the 80th Anniversary of the founding of Gelligaer UDC motor bus operations.
The Event will take place at Parc Penallta near Ystrad Mynach and will feature a grand cavalcade through the former operating district in the morning and various bus running operations during the afternoon.
